Fruits at 8-12 years old, mature trees are freeze tolerant to the low 20's. The most common variety of Jaboticaba world wide for good reason - it has excellent 10/10 flavor often described using words such as concord grape, marachino cherry, and blueberry yogurt. 60%+ pulp by weight, 2.5-3.0 cm, becomes everbearing (6+ harvests per year) after 2-5 years of fruiting if kept irrigated and fertilized. Germination rates of 80%+ will continue well past 3 months from harvest. Needs daily watering and pH <7.5 either by water, soil, or amendments. Perfect for container culture.
