Fruits at 4+ years old in a 3 gallon, mature trees are likely freeze tolerant to the mid 20's. This large fruit jaboticaba variety can produce 4+cm fruit and is a heavy bearer. Outstanding jaboticaba flavor, fairly upright growth pattern, 60%+ pulp by weight, bears a few times per year after 2-5 years of fruiting if kept irrigated and fertilized. Germination rates of 80%+ will continue well past 3 months from harvest. Needs daily watering and pH <7.5 either by water, soil, or amendments. Perfect for container culture. These seeds are from a friend's tree who I have planted his seeds many times over the past few years.
